The Cycladic islands of Greece will always have a special place in my heart. My mom was born on the island, across from Santorini, of Sikinos. Santorini is iconic - it is the island folks typically conjure up, in their mind's eye, when they picture the Greek Aegean islands. In this piece, I painted the blue-domed church in Oia overlooking the Mediterranean, framed by my favorite flowers: bougainvillea.
